Capitec recently launched Capitec Pay, enabling customers to checkout quickly and securely through the Capitec app. This replaces the Capitec Bank option on our EFT solutions.

Identified - We suspect that the issue is being caused by a wide scale vendor issue which has resulted in the servers being unavailable. The Teams are working to disable the impacted service to mitigate the issue.

The duration of the maintenance is planned for 5 hours. All transactions will be routed to the remaining 2 live servers for continuity of service. Upon completion, transactions will be re-distributed to all 4 servers.
